Calculon is Dead...Long Live Calculon

two final releases from the greatest sludge label in the world...

Limited to 325 Copies

This 7" brings together 2 previously unreleased tracks from America's Sourvein (Black cloud Revelations) & Great Britain's Blood Island Raiders (Phobia).

Really heavy shit from these two.

Mondo Cada - ST

..a variety of tripped out stoner rock..recalling the cataclysmic power of Part Chimp, or Hey Collosus, or to place it more historically, Black Sabbath, or Black Flag, they're impressively intense and rock out some seriously bizzare melodies and sounds...

my personal recommendation for everybody to start your morning!

The Calculon label is R.I.P, So Be fast to catch what you want.

Raw & Cool

Great raw Crossover/Thrash with catchy Stoner/Sludge pieces
Comes from the favourite artist of mine Scott Stearns - Guitar (Diehard, Wizardfool, King Travolta, Fistula, Son of Jor-El, Accept Death, Sollubi, Ultralord)

The music and sound closely reminds me Ukrainian HC/stoner band Remorse

Big fat stoned thanx to Wizard for sending this rare pieces of plastic & tonns more!

Godfathers of Japanese Sludge/Noise Rock/HC/Experimental Music

Tatsuya Yoshida (Ruins, Koenji Hyakkei and many more) once was the drummer of ZENI GEVA in 1989-90 and recorded ZG's 1st CD "Maximum Money Monster". Also, Yoshida was playing with KK Null in the bands such as YBO2 and GEVA2 in the early '80s to '90s. Now he came back in the right place at the right time.

The official release since Yoshida (Ruins alone, Koenji Hyakkei) came back to the band for the first time in 20 years.

Wormsmeat - 2006 - Wormsmeat

Great Sludgy Doom feat. O.D. Lallo from thegreatestsludgebandintheuniverse Negative Reaction

"Dude, you dig Wormsmeat? They’re like, fatter-sounding and doomier than I expected. I bet these guys totally love Lord of the Rings and southern fried chicken."
-Decibel Magazine

Thanx to Worm for sending this.

Fire Witch - 2010 - Lairs!

Great Australian band goes into psychedelic woods.

"Like a pair of lumbering, tusky woolly mammoths wandering the glacial plains and moraines of an pleistocene world, the basses of Fire Witch spin epic adventure soundtracks with an Oz flair for vocabularizing instrumental music, without needless singing/screaming. Meanwhile, locked-in step with the basses, drums announce an elemental backdrop of rain, thunder and tectonic shift."

Very Dark and Heavy Abysses of Sound.

70-minute song came straight from hell which illustrates the decadence of the Roman emperor, Heliogabalus.
This time Rorcal is going ways further than before, with crushing doom parts, including long hellish droning fields.
This album is scary, really aggressive, completely gloomy. Be sure, you never heard something like that, and you never will.
If you’re looking for something really extreme, this is exactly what you need.

Rorcal (Swiss) - 2010 - Heliogabalus

Big Slabs of Downtuned Dirt.

Life’s Trade would work far better as an instrumental album, but traumatic vocals be damned, Samothrace knows how the cut a deep nerve with this disturbed and improbably buoyant excursion into madness… Heavy music for heavy times.
Samothrace is an evolving beast. Keep it heavy... keep it underground.
Heavy... tuned to the eons-long drone of the darkest creations of space and the ever evolving galaxy clusters that lie therein... give or take about 50 octaves.

Greek Heaviest Rock Sensation!

Beyond Perception played uncompromising Southern/Stoner Metal. Leading the throat reminds Phil Anselmo.
I would never have known these guys were from Greece, the vocals were solid English, the guitars just shred, and the drums are in your face!
